DUSA Success Stories
In 2008 DUSA successfully campaigned on several issues. The following are just some of the wins we've had so far. Thanks to DUSA, the Burwood library now opens 45 minutes earlier at 7:45am - before the first lecture starts. We successfully got your University administrators to meet with students to answer questions about the Trimester academic year and the future of our University. DUSA successfully lobbied for funding for a semester one on campus Law Revision weekend for off campus students. We also successfully kept electronic submission of assignments on the agenda at all levels of the University. In 2009 we convinced the Vice Chancellor to review the trimester model, and find a solution to reinstate swot vac.
